How it works
Through the Motability scheme, you simply turn part, or all, of your allowance into the scooter or powered wheelchair of your choice. To find out if you are eligible, and which allowances are used, have a look at our FAQs pages.
Parents can apply on behalf of a child who receives the allowance, Hewerdine will assess and advise which products are suitable for your child.
Only the person in receipt of the allowance can use the mobilty scooter or powered wheelchair. It should not be used, for example, by your partner or spouse.
What's included
