Hewerdine servicing leafletShould you require assistance or need your mobility product repairing, then our Service Centre Co-ordinators will help you in anyway they can.  We can efficiently organise one of our fully trained field service technicians to visit you as soon as possible  - with 14 mobile engineers on the road 365 days a year in the UK, together with a client base of over 20,000 satisfied wheelchair users - we can assure you a swift response.

With comprehensive support from our manufacturer-trained team of field and in-house service technicians, we are sure that once you have bought a mobility or healthcare product from Hewerdine you will never need to look elsewhere again.

Our mobility products servicing and repair centre team work efficiently to minimise the disruption caused by unfortunate problems with any mobility equipment.  We can arrange for our trained technicians to repair your product either at your home, school, college, or in our workshop.

Service packages
Gold service - for manual wheelchairs and buggies

Benefits

  • To attend at home address / school / college
  • Fully Trained and CRB checked mobile technicians
  • To attend any unforeseen breakdowns, including the supply and fitting of major component parts, including motors, control systems, cables, connections and wheels
  • The policy also includes the supply and fitting of consumables (wear and tear items), this would include replacement batteries, armpads and motor brushes
  • In addition the wheelchair or buggy will have an annual service and safety check
  • Any consumables to be fitted during this service are all included
Manual wheelchairs £15.00 per month.
Buggies £15.00 per month.

*This package is only available within the first 3 months of a new purchase

Gold servicece for powerchairs and scooters

Benefits

  • To attend at home address / school / college
  • Fully Trained and CRB checked mobile technicians
  • To attend any unforeseen breakdowns, including the supply and fitting of major component parts, including motors, control systems, cables, connections and wheels
  • The policy also includes the supply and fitting of consumables (wear and tear items), this would include replacement batteries, armpads and motor brushes
  • In addition the wheelchair or buggy will have an annual service and safety check, including a portable appliance test on battery charger (if applicable)
  • Any consumables to be fitted during this service are all included

Cost

Scooters £25.00 per month.
Powerchairs £30.00 per month.

Silver service for manual wheelchairs, powerchairs and scooters

Benefits

  • Fully trained and CRB checked mobile technicians
  • An annual service and safety check, including a portable appliance test on the battery charger (if Applicable)
  • To attend unforeseen breakdowns up to 3 times per annum

Cost

Manual wheelchairs £10.99 per month.
Scooters £13.99 per month.
Powerchairs £13.99 per month.

standard workshop charges
Call out and Service £75.00
Call out for repair £50.00 - including the 1st 15 minutes then £32.00 per hour in 15 minute increments.
Workshop labour
£32.00 per hour
Redelivery charge
£30.00

*Exclusions: Damage or loss, kerbside recovery, special seating, repairs outside England & Wales. Up to 3 years of the age of equipment, to be revised on an annual basis. All spares chargeable.

All prices shown excluding VAT. VAT at the current rate charged where applicable.
